Returns

  • We want you to be completely happy with your purchase.
  • Please check it as soon as possible after receipt and please do not open accessories before checking the main item(s) for size. Where stockings form part of a costume, outfit or lingerie set then please do not open stockings until you are sure that you intend to keep the item that they are part of.
  • If, for any reason, you are not completely happy with your purchase then we will gladly refund or exchange it subject to this returns policy.

 

Returns Policy

  • You may inspect and try on goods in a way that would be possible in a store. It is ok to try costumes, dresses and outer clothing on for size. Do not remove or break any hygiene seals as this will invalidate any returns.
  • If you wish to return part or all of your order for a refund or exchange you must notify us within 14 days of the day after delivery of the item. You may notify us by submitting a return request by email. Due to the volume of communications received on a daily basis, we do not reply to these return notifications unless a specific question is asked or query raised. You should return all items to us at Divas Closet, Blackpool Enterprise Centre, Lytham Road, Blackpool, FY4 1EW no later than 14 days from the date you notify us. If you have notified us by email you will receive an auto reply. It is then your responsibility to return any items to us within the designated time frame.
  • If you checked out via a phone number please return your items to the address above. You must contact us first for an RMA number.
  • Where stockings form part of a costume, outfit or lingerie set, customers might not get a full refund if the costume is only returned partly. The same applies for outfits or lingerie sets where the stockings have been worn.
  • Items of an intimate nature, e.g. knickers, thongs, g-strings and one piece items cannot be returned. This also applies to all hosiery inc bodystockings and stockings and crotchless items. 
  • Customers will not get a refund if items are returned to us used (ie worn) or washed, not in the original condition with tags intact, with any marks (e.g. make-up or scratched shoe soles) or odours (e.g. perfume or cigarette smoke). Items with hygiene seals missing or sealed items that have been opened will not be refunded.
  • We request that items are returned along with their original manufacturer's packaging so that future customers can receive the item as the manufacturer intended. This is required should any item need to be returned to the supplier. 
  • Please keep proof of postage when sending the goods back to us. Proof of postage is not proof of delivery. This is for your own safety in case goods get lost in transit.

Right to Cancel

  • You have a statutory right to cancel your order under The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Should you wish to cancel an order please see our Right to Cancel page.

Our Refund Policy

  • For whole order return requests or cancellations received within 15 days of the day after delivery of the order we will refund your payment, including the packing and postage costs (except for the supplementary costs arising if you choose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us). The buyer is responsible for the costs of returning the order items.
  • For partial order return requests received within 14 days of the day after delivery we will refund the order item costs. Packing and postage costs are not refundable. The buyer is responsible for the costs of returning the order items.
  • Whole or partial order return requests received after 14 days of the day after delivery may be accepted at our discretion and a credit note or exchange offered. The packing and postage costs are not refundable and the buyer is responsible for the costs of returning the order items. Should you receive a free item with your order this will also need to be returned or the full price for that item will be deducted from any refund.
  • Standard packing and postage costs for exchange items will not be charged. Express packing and postage costs for exchange items must be paid in advance.

Procedure

  2. To submit a return request through this website, please contact us by using our contact us form located at the bottom of the website with your order number, what you would like to return and why you wish to return it.  
  3. Your returns id will be the number given in the returns centre.
  4. We will agree with you to either refund, replace or exchange the item subject to availability.
  5. Please post the return items back to us without undue delay and in any event to the address provided to you with your RMA number, not later than 15 days from the day on which you communicate your return request.
  6. On receipt of the package, we will determine whether the item is acceptable for return in accordance with our policy.
  7. Once we have received you returned goods we will send you an email confirmation and your refund will be processed within 14 days.
  8. Refunds will be processed using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction. It can take a few additional working days for the banking and credit card system to credit the funds back onto your credit card or bank account once we have processed you refund.
  9. If the item is not acceptable then we will contact you with an explanation of the reasons why.
  10. You must notify us in advance advance. Unauthorised returns may not be returned or refunded. Items sent back in an unsaleable condition will not be refunded.
  11. Please note should you open Paypal disputes or claims then you will overide our returns policy. Paypals decision will be final as they work off their own policies.
  12. All our postage and packaging costs are kept to a minimum. If parcels are rejected/refused upon attempted delivery and we have to redirect them and costs are incurred by ourselves these full costs will be deducted from any refund we issue.
  13. You have a duty of care to ensure all items are returned to us in the same original condition as they were received. If any item is returned damaged or incomplete, including packaging, it will not be eligible for a refund or exchange. Should your item be damaged for any reason you must contact us within 72 hours of receipt of your delivery.
  14. Should any item be upgraded due to any reason we will expect if it is returned it will be in the same condition it was sent out. Should it not be then we will recover the full cost of the item from any refund due. 
  15. Due to recent circumstances if you fail to contact us within the cancellation time frame your return request will be rejected.
